The Tree Circle Though many years have passed, and many generations have been and gone, this elusive circle of oaks still remains as the meeting place of the Sylver Tribe. It holds great and precious memories for Tribe members young and old; those who live with the tribe respect it for its connection to the legendary Sylver. Some say that, in this very place, his ghost can be seen; watching over them all. Moderator: Kinneh
Deepest Waters One thing not many would expect to come across in the terratory of foxes; a large pool of water, mainly used for drinking. None dare to attempt to bathe in it, due to its haunting name - none know if there is a bottom to it, and bathing in it could result in an unexpected death. Dangers unknown lurk beneath the waters, clear as they are. The water itself, however, is extremely nourishing, giving any fox plenty of energy for the day ahead. An odd combination of qualities for what should be a mere waterhole. Moderator: Kinneh
Ashbrook Mountain A towering mound of rock, taller than most other things in the close vacinity, yet still part of the land this age-old tribe prowls. A brook trickles gently down its steep sides, but may the Gods have mercy on any who drink it; its not called Ashbrook for nothing, you know. Moderator: Kinneh
Sunlight Glade The glade is smack right in the center of Kibeth’s lush forest. This huge, sandy area is devoid of any flora, with only a large fallen tree log at one edge of it. Rich golden rays of light flood into the clearing whenever there is sun, thus giving it the name ‘Sunlit Glade’. Dens are littered densely round the edge of the dell; this is where most pack members live. If you have a den here, then your den is the perfect place to mate; only strangers will intrude ‘pon another’s burrow. The forest surrounding it is luxuriant, full of small critters to hunt. Dappled shadows fall on the forest loam, creating a lacy pattern on the mossy ground. There are many hollowed-out trees dotted around in the forest. ‘Tiis rumoured that ‘Kett has made one of these trees his hideout. Moderator: Jinx
Orchard Of Enchantments Many many tree's grow here, all year round, but only producing their sweet fruits in srping, and carrying them into summer. The fruits from these tree's are precious to the tribe, due to being rather useful in herbal remedies. But, they happen to taste really horrid; and have the slightly addicting side effects of alcohol, which, of course, wears out after a few hours, sometimes leaving the fox(es) concerned with a head ache they cannot control. Yet, many come here, not for the fruit, but to bestow their gifts to Fornax, the Godess of Enchantments; thus the naming of the orchard. Moderator: Jinx
Dante's Peak A towering feat of nature, seemingly a normal mountain; rocky and blackened at the foot, yet iced and freezing at the tip. But infact, Dante's Peak is far from a normal mountain - it is infact a volcano, which has been dormant (sleeping) for the past eighteen years. Foxes must be wary around this area, for no one but the Gods know when Dante's Peak will erupt; and sometimes, they don't give warnings. Moderator: Jinx
Thistle Hall It is rather ironic this place should be names as it is; for it was named so even before the Alpha - Thistle - was promoted to lead it. Overhead, the branches of many tree's inter-twine, to give the haunting impression there is a roof over the heads of the foxes who dwell within. One must be careful when manvouvering through it in the darkness; a prickly thistle is bound to find its way into an unlucky foxes' paw pads, leaving a stinging sensation behind for several hours. Flanders' Field The grass in this field is lush, forever swaying in an eternal light breeze; but it is not the grass that this place is known for. It is indeed the poppies which adorn it, row upon row, and the broken crosses of a cemetary; rotting, crumbling, yet lingering like haunting shadows of the death. It is plain war has killed this land in the past; it is unknown if history will take the opportunity to repeat itself. We hope none will give it a reason to do so. Moderator: Kinneh
Willow Creek The sparkling water that flows here has been filtered underground. It is so pure that it tastes almost sweet. Smooth mica pebbles litter the muddy floor of the small, translucent stream – like a glittering ribbon among the sea of lush grass. Old willow trees lining the creek may creak and sway in a gentle breeze, apple-green leaves caressing the surface of the crystalline liquid. Deer come here often to drink the water. Many lovers court here, often playing in the leafy shadows of the trees. Moderator: Kinneh
Dense Forest This place is rather haunting at night, foreboding even. If you wanted to find some tree's, you'd definetly come to the right place here. Most wanderers find themselves here during their times of pacing about; some call it the meeting place of the lost. Small prey lurks in the dappled shadows, so keep those eyes peeled and you may grasp a lucky meal. Moderator: Kinneh
Old Maloney's Lake This lake is positively huge, and is an excellent source of water for the wanderering foxes. A huge and dangerous pike lurks somewhere in its depths, preying on those who come too close - they call him Old Maloney, and it is very much his lake. Far out, there is an inland island, which is only accessible in winter, when the lake has frozen over. Will you stumble upon it? Moderator: Kinneh
Coreys Conservation Lab A large, red brick building lies just outside the forest, and to many foxes is a source of eerie interest. Now and again, humans adorning brightly white coats walk past the windows, peering outside, and even more rarely, they come outside. This is when foxes must flee, because usually humans are out to collect an oddly-coloured specimen to take a DNA sample.. and see how it got such a weird coat colour. Moderator: Kinneh
Tantamo Bay A long strip of silvery sand glitters in the sunlight, allowing the crystal claer waves to lap across it not and then. Odd caves are dotted about the shore, where foxes may take up residence, and there are many small rock pools just teeming with life. Fish are aplenty here, but to get some, a fox must be a good swimmer; the fish generally stay further out, where its a little deeper. Its safe to swim out in summer and spring, when the waves are calm, but its not advised you try on a fierce winters day, when the sea is choppy and dangerous. Moderator: Kinneh
Derelict Lighthouse Certainly a large, towering spectre, this lighthouse can be seen for miles around. It stands just on the north end of the bay, looking out over the sea and the sands. At the highest point a fox can supposedly go, there's a large circular room, with a broken lamp in its center, and high above, a trap door thats impossible to reach. Hidden somewhere, is a staircase, leading to places unkown.. Moderator: Kinneh
